About Sarah

Hello, I’m Sarah.

I first came to massage and bodywork about 20 years ago, something about it just felt right – the ebb and flow of massage, the connection, caring for people.

During my studies, I worked in a hospice – that’s when I realised how deeply important this work is and how powerful touch can be. It was at the hospice that I learnt the importance of massaging with compassion and presence.

When I take care and ownership of my health - a swim at Vobster, eating well, regular massage - I feel more grounded. It all starts with an intention to look after you.

When you come for an appointment with me, I want to take you on a journey from beginning to end. There’s no conveyor belt or one size fits all approach. I want you to feel completely held in the space and leave feeling nourished in mind and body. I often think of bodywork as both of our energies working together in harmony to create space for healing.

I’ve had an ongoing love affair with nature and plants. It started growing up in the Lake District and now with my apothecary garden in Frome. I love combining bodywork with Aromatherapy – the therapeutic properties of the plants mean we can work that bit deeper into the mind, the body, the psyche.

I blend intuitive bodywork and plant powered oils with breathwork to tune into the body and grounding energy-based practices like Reflexology, Acupressure, and Reiki.

Knead + Ground was born out of my love for Massage (Knead) and Aromatherapy (Ground). I want to work with clients to get out of their heads and into their bodies. I’m here for the deep sigh, the reset, the feeling at ease in your body again. If that sounds like you – get in touch.
